Buy a large array of different ships, manage fleets, construct factories and more in this in-depth space sim. You’ll certainly love this complex title despite its age, at least until the next entry comes out.
Galaxy on Fire 2
Galaxy on Fire 2 is a full-fledged single-player adventure that has you exploring tons of beautifully-made solar systems while buying a variety of different customizable ships, each with their own roles. Mine and take down space pirates as you dock on many space stations owned by various factions. Your actions affect your reputation, such as doing a mission for a specific faction gives you a bad name to its rival faction and so on. With an in-depth trading system featuring tons of goods to trade with, Galaxy on Fire 2 is a single-player experience worth checking out.
In this solo space shooter, death is part of your story. Every time you die, you get to upgrade your ship and start off your next voyage with a much more armed spaceship. The levels you progress through are randomly-generated, and they look magnificent. As you take in the vibrant visuals, you’ll collect blueprints for crafting, as well as find and mine resources that you need for repairing and upgrading. Many different situations await you on each playthrough, making you improvise and choose whether to play it safe or take the risk of achieving something valuable.
