Games Like Kenshi

Games like Kenshi give you the freedom to make your own story in large sandbox worlds. They offer endless replay value as you make various choices on your journey. Your adventure isn’t forced with linear objectives but is instead filled with your own decisions and your own objectives that affect the world around you.

Kenshi is a squad-based RPG that puts you in a huge open-world where you can enjoy sandbox gameplay without any linear story to limit your journey. It challenges you with surviving in a desert full of dangers. Whether you will become a farmer, a thief, a warlord, or even a slave, is entirely up to you.

There are no limits as to what you want to be in Kenshi. However, it won’t be easy to accomplish everything you want, as you are no special character in this non-scripted dynamic world where even cannibals can capture you and eat you alive. There’s so much you can do, both good and bad, from building a fortress and freeing slaves to destroying cities and becoming a slave yourself.

Help out or fight many factions as you bring injured squad members to safety. With a realistic medical system, things such as starvation, injuries and more can affect character stats. Blood can attract unwanted predators, and blood loss leads to passing out.

With no level scaling and plenty of freedom in gameplay, Kenshi is a challenging game that certainly does not hold your hand along the way. It offers a unique experience each time you play, and you never know what could happen. If you haven’t played Kenshi already, then fans of role-playing and limitless gameplay definitely should, as it immerses you into a unique journey every time.
