Gigantic Alternatives and Similar Games

Gigantic takes a fresh approach to the MOBA genre, incorporating features of their own to create a 3rd person “Hero Shooter”. This means that you won’t find exactly the same kind of games like Gigantic, but there are still other games that try to introduce something different to the genre.

Choose from a list of diverse, unique heroes and plunge into beautiful environments alongside your teammates for 5v5 strategic gameplay. Both teams have their own Guardian which has to be powered up by taking down enemy heroes, enemy creatures, and collecting Orbs which work as control points. Creatures can be summoned on Orb points.

Each Creature has its own special ability to influence the battle greatly, so make sure you summon the right Creature. When the Guardian has enough power, it’s time for a massive battle. Help the Guardian take out the opposing Guardian while it’s vulnerable.

While the enemy Guardian is down, your team must take down his health to “Wound” him. If your team manages to Wound the enemy Guardian 3 times, then you have become victorious. As the battle nears its end, the landscape will start changing, making gameplay much more intense.

It’s truly a unique approach to the MOBA genre, with the main goals of collecting Power for your Guardian and taking out the enemy Guardian. The maps are greatly designed and the heroes look great as well. If you haven’t played Gigantic yet, I highly recommend you do so. It’s tons of fun and it should get even better as time goes on.
