Games Like Child of Light

Games like Child of Light engross you with their interesting worlds and characters. They know how to amaze you and give you an adventure like no other.

Child of Light is a turn-based 2D RPG where you play as a young girl named Aurora who somehow ends up in a fairytale world, a continent called Lemuria. In Lemuria, a variety of beautiful hand-drawn areas await you as you go on a journey to take down the evil creatures who have snatched the sun, moon and stars. A wide range of creatures can be found throughout Lemuria which you will have to fight through, but you won’t have to do it alone as you are accompanied by a firefly named Igniculus as well as other interesting characters you get to meet throughout your adventure.

The turn-based combat, reminiscent of the one seen in the Final Fantasy games involves using two party members at a time. These can be swapped with other characters in your party, each of whom has their own useful special skills. This also means that every character has their own skill tree in which they unlock skills using skill points gained by leveling up.

Child of Light exceptionally manages to completely tell its story in verse and rhyme, a form possibly never seen in a video game before. With charming visuals and calm music paired with well-designed gameplay and interesting characters, Child of Light is a relaxing experience that you’ll certainly adore.

If you haven’t played Child of Light but are looking for a relaxing RPG to play through, then Child of Light is for you. But if you’re here looking for more games like Child of Light that also include something unique to captivate you, then this list of games might have just what you’re looking for.

Thanks, for the list. I have recently finished child of light. It’s awesome games for everyone, especially for beginners, who has recently bought first PS or Xbox.
The next on play list is Ori and the Blind forest.
