You can play in the Campaign Mode, in real time or turn-based modes. Replaying the game is still entertaining since the cities and events are always randomized.

In this game, dangers are everywhere: the dead roam the streets; raiders assault the unwary survivors; madness, diseases and hunger are constant. And in this world of ruins and perils, you must gather willing survivors and try to restore civilization.

You decide what to build and when. There are 50 types of building, some of which you can build, others to scavenge. Among these are hospitals, houses, farms and fortifications.

5 skills are available for your characters to learn: defense; leadership; scavenging; building; and engineering. This skills will define what will each survivor do. Also, there are 100 survivor perks, such as Melee Training and Light Sleeper, as well as 70 types of equipment to find, that will help your survivors keep on living.

The choices in determining who goes where and does what belongs to you. But be prudent: your decisions may cost you the lives of people, people with available backgrounds, relationships and skills.

Overall, a very interesting game. And if you are a fan of zombie survival games, you shouldn’t miss this one.
